PLCs, Motion Control, Automation
Modern PLCs are capable of tasks that were not possible just a few years ago. One PLC can run an entire machine consisting of coordinated motion, complex logic, Ethernet connectivity, data logging, remote diagnostics, and web interfaces. Plus they are more affordable than ever making PLCs the choice for even simple control systems. Whether supporting an existing automated system or adding a new one, we can help with your control needs. From system design to developing schematics and bills of material to building and commissioning, we can handle your control project. We also provide automation support for your existing system. We have experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth, Automation Direct, and others.
We have broad experience working with all ages and makes of CNC controls and spindle/servo drives. Fanuc, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, Fagor. DC brush, DC brushless, AC. We've worked with CNC controls from 1980 on and can do our best to get your machine up and running again.
We work with all electrical and control components of industrial equipment. From installing VFDs, replacing sensors, updating circuit protection, rewiring for different voltages, adding additional components, replacing operator controls, safety mitigation, to installing new equipment or disconnecting for relocating machinery in house.
Do you have an older machine that has good iron and an outdated control? Retrofitting to a newer CNC control and servo drives may be an option to consider. Considering the cost of purchasing and installing new machinery, this may be a cost effective solution. We have experience installing CNC controls from Fagor and Heidenhain and can accommodate other control options based on your needs. Depending on the condition of other electrical components on the machine, it may be possible to keep existing servo drives and electrical controls resulting in further cost savings. Retrofitting is definitely done on a case by case basis but contact us if you considering it with any of your equipment.
